New multi-purpose building "House of Energy"

Sustainable mobility wrapped in translucent cladding

A new multi-purpose building has been expanding the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne since April 2023: the topics of energy transition and mobility play a central role in the "House of Energy". From the outside, the impressive new building with its anthracite façade is both timeless and practical. MONTAWALL® wall cassettes are normally used as a substructure. However, at the request of the architects, they were used as façade cladding for the "House of Energy", perforated and subsequently powder-coated before being installed vertically. Protected from the adversities of the outside world, the museum offers a pleasant and quiet place to learn about sustainable mobility.

A total of 2,282 square meters of MONTAWALL® cassettes MK 100/600 A, perforated with acoustic perforation, were installed.
