Spring Full of Impulses – A recap of our events 

May 2025 was a month full of exciting encounters, hands-on knowledge sharing, and inspiring ideas for Montana. With three outstanding events – the first MONTAupdate Breakfast in St. Gallen, the kick-off of the Sandwich Intensive Seminar, and the ArchitekTOUR in Stuttgart – we tested new formats, showcased our innovations, and actively engaged with customers and industry partners. 

08 May 2025 – Premiere of the MONTAupdate Breakfast in St. Gallen

On May 8th, the first MONTAupdate Breakfast took place in the unique atmosphere of the Freihof Brewery and Hofstube in St. Gallen. The goal of this new format was to offer our customers a compact and personal insight into our latest product developments – all over a hearty breakfast.

The informal setting allowed for in-depth conversations and made it possible to respond directly to individual questions, needs, and challenges. In addition to presenting our latest solutions, the focus was clearly on dialogue: What challenges do our customers face in their daily work? What demands does practice place on our products? And where can we improve together?

The enthusiastic feedback and high level of interest confirm: MONTAupdate Breakfast is a format with a future.

22 May 2025 – Sandwich Intensive Seminar: From Practice, For Practice

On 22 May, our well-established Sandwich Intensive Seminar launched its next round in cooperation with SFS Switzerland GmbH. This one-day training is designed for metalworkers, façade and timber builders, tinsmiths, and planners who want to deepen their expertise in working with sandwich panels.

Although these panels with polyurethane or mineral wool cores are highly efficient, correct installation on roofs and walls is essential. Mistakes in processing can quickly become costly. That’s why our seminar not only covers theoretical fundamentals but also provides practical examples and installation tips to avoid common pitfalls and explore new application possibilities.

The next and already fully booked sessions will take place in Villmergen in June 2025.

22 May 2025 – ArchitekTOUR 2025 in Stuttgart: 90 Seconds of Strong Impact

Also on 22 May, we took part in the ArchitekTOUR 2025 in Stuttgart together with Colors | Tata Steel Nederland – organized by Heinze GmbH. This unique event brought together over 500 architects and around 30 companies, each with only 90 seconds to present their innovations – with no direct competition among participants.

Our expert Christoph Schlosser took the opportunity to deliver a sharp pitch showcasing the design and functional potential of Colorcoat SDP 50 and SDP 50 Matt. In focus: the creative potential of pre-coated steel profiles for modern building envelopes – a topic that attracted great interest from the audience.

Following the presentation rounds, Michel Groen from Colors was available for more in-depth technical discussions and held many insightful conversations with interested architects. These personal exchanges revealed the growing demand for sustainable, durable, and aesthetically high-quality solutions in architecture.

Our conclusion: ArchitekTOUR 2025 was a great success – not just due to the large number of visitors, but especially because of the rich dialogue and valuable new contacts we were able to establish.
